Digital Art Workshop #2 - Building Blocks

The first of three workshops in the digital arts. Hosted by AfterMath Gallery and funded by Creative NZ, in these workshops we will explore the emerging digital arts through the lens of 4 New Zealand artists, talking about their experiences, passions and process.

No technical skills will be necessary.

The workshops run bi-weekly on Saturday afternoons, from 1:30pm.

Food and refreshments will be provided.

This week we have:
Mo H. Zareei aka mHz talking about his sonic arts and the 'unmusical'
Birgit Bachler will talk about "Networking Natures && Coding Cultures" including the process of connecting water with an Internet of Things
Gregory Bennett talking about his animation process and the types of meaning available in his works, as well as where 3D animation is going in the future.

In this second episode we will be talking around the processes and building blocks useful to those new to the digital arts. We'll be discussing the nature of the digital and looking at how to bring these themes into the real world.

Tickets starting from $10 for unwaged/working-poor:
